Perennial Full moons wall hanging – Hand-painted ink art – Lunar garland moon wall art – moons calendar – moon garland – moon cycle

All paper decorations, designed, handmade and stitched to order in our studio in Scotland.

🌙 With this garland we’ve hand-painted thin white card with inks to create our abstract interpretation of twelve full moons that occur every year. Our moon phases wall hanging is a beautiful way to bring a touch of the celestial indoors!
Inspired by the names, symbolism and related seasons of these full moons, this wall hanging represents the following moons :

Wolf • Snow • Crow • Pink • Flower • Strawberry • Thunder • Grain • Harvest • Blood • Dark • Cold

Drawing inspiration from the Celtic calendar each moon also represents the part of the year it falls into: ‘light’ full moons feature pearlised, shimmering inks, and full moons from the ‘dark’side of the year have tones of black and grey in them. Each garland is cut and stitched with white thread, is approximately 1m25cm long with the ends are finished for easy hanging.

✨Please note, the birch wood featured in some of our photos is not supplied, we’d love to be able to but we foraged it on a walk years ago in the Scottish countryside & is just for display purposes because we think it’s cute!.. As with many of our photo shoots we hope it serves as inspiration of how you can display your PSD decor✨
