Perennial Full Moon wall hanging

With this garland we've hand-painted thin white recycled card with inks to create our abstract interpretation of twelve full moons that occur every year - a full representation of our moon phases wall hangings.

Inspired by the names, symbolism & related seasons, this wall hanging represents the following moons:

Wolf • Snow • Crow • Pink • Flower • Strawberry • Thunder • Grain • Harvest • Blood • Dark • Cold

Drawing inspiration from the Celtic calendar each moon also represents the part of the year it falls into: 'light' full moons feature pearlised, shimmering inks, and full moons from the 'dark' side of the year have tones of black and grey in them.

Each garland is cut & stitched with white thread, app 1m25cm, ends finished for easy hanging.
