Paper Garlands

Our sewn paper garlands are where it all began back in 2015! 
As with all our decor everything is designed and handmade by us in Scotland.
We create decorations we want to use and our artisan approach means attention to detail at every stage. With handpainted garlands every strand is unique. Our paper garlands are always generously filled, easy to hang, lightweight and easy to store.

They're a great way to add some artistic whimsy to your everyday home decor or personalise rented accommodation. Keep them up year round or swap them out for a seasonal refresh. Most popular as bedroom wall decor, living room wall decor and kids/nursery decor.

Sustainable, ethical production at every stage is important to us. We keep our carbon footprint to an absolute minimum sourcing our materials as close to home as possible. 
We constantly strive to create a balance between using sustainable materials with the greatest longevity and quality of the final piece. 
Our original sample garlands we made back in 2015, are still going strong as the day they were made and hang colourfully in our studio. See FAQ for care instructions.

Across this collection we use:

• Recycled papers (some of which were old coffee cups!)
  
• FSC sustainable papers - the vast majority milled in the UK some in France. We love to work with Bockingford watercolour paper from St Cuthbert's Mill. (see our FAQ to find out more about this UK heritage process)
  
• All materials waste is kept to a minimum in how we paint and cut our shapes.
  Risograph garlands
• All risograph printed garlands use recycled paper. 
• Very energy efficient printing method.
  
• Non-toxic, soy based inks.
