Everyday Enchantment 

These magically inscribed garlands are our signature, abstract way of spreading a little colourful magic around for everyday enchantment...

Each handmade Cyanotype Garland is inspired by folk magic and witchy correspondences from the natural world:

♥ A circle of salt for protection.
♥ Rosemary represents memory.
♥ Lavender for luck.
♥ Love made from a rose petal, surrounded by fern to symbolise a sense of eternity and abundance.

From gathered objects to cyanotypes/rosatypes, we created riso prints that were then inscribed with their symbols and correspondences:  salt/protection; rosemary/memory; lavender/luck; love/abundance.
We then cut the prints into circles and stitch the garlands with white thread before finishing off the ends with a smaller circle. 

Let these intentionally made, unique cyanotypes work as an everyday enchantment in your living space.

Unique cyanotypes | the process...

By using the photographic power of the sun, we've combined many elements and processes resulting in unique cyanotypes that capture a moment in time...

We applied custom colour mixes of light sensitive formula to paper to produce a collection of magical moments. Steeped in symbolism and associations our images were then created as our chosen objects and compositions were exposed onto the pages.

From these "sun prints" we then created files for the riso print process before inscribing them, cutting them and stitching them up into the final garland.
