Grain Moon Phases Wall Hanging | Eco Friendly Art | AUTUMN // LIGHT // AUGUST
The Grain Moon is the most common term for the full moon in August, and we've tried to capture that energy in our hand-painted moon phases wall hanging.
As with all our work these garlands are eco friendly art, made sustainably (see FAQ).
Each garland is hand-painted by us on thin white card with a mix of tan, green and pearlised inks which we cut into shapes representing the phases from waxing, full and waning moon.
As an abstract, artistic interpretation this hint of pearlised ink adds a luminescence that symbolises that this moon is from the ‘light’ half of the Celtic calendar.
Please note every garland will be unique.
